Growing up, I watched my Entrepreneur Father, a self-proclaimed Carpenter and Real Estate Investor, build, purchase, remodel and renovate single family homes with devout passion. Spending countless hours, Daddy would critique every inch of a home and would often install or design a unique feature, never seen in a remodeled home, "back in the days".  I will never forget how tentative, thorough and creative he was at his work and around our home. I became fascinated at the transformations, often dreaming about the changes I could someday make in someone’s home; Hence, LadēLewis Epoxy Countertops &  Designs,  I would often tell others, "We are a reflection of how we were raised and if our parents had never taught us anything (in our minds), we learned by their Examples”.  Needless to say, overtime I became passionate about helping people transform their living spaces. There is nothing more gratifying then the joy it brings to someone after seeing a transformation for the first time or in a long time.  Sometimes I think I get more excited than others.

 

All too often we get stuck in the norm or overwhelmed with the to-do’s, time and expense and then some, that we end up doing nothing. “Just do one thing at a time”, my Mother would often say, “You would be amazed!”  So true, and motivating.

 

So today there are tons of home improvement series and social media videos that make it appear that we have to spend a fortune to have a quality look. Well I beg to differ.  I come from humble beginnings and I live a modest lifestyle.  I believe that anything can be transformed without spending a fortune and still have mass appeal.  That’s the real beauty of it all.
